The Houston Birth Doula welcomed four babies in September, three girls and one boy, and are looking forward to our upcoming births of the month.
On October 29th, we will be at the Houston BIRTH fair volunteering and have donated to their raffle. There will be birthworkers, lactation consultants, holistic healthcare providers, and more. We look forward to seeing you there!
Our book, the Doula's Guide to an Epidural was published via our site in September and is available for sale. It is a short guide to this type of pain relief during labor, and explains pros, cons, and side effects and whether or not an epidural is right for you.
One new offering we are launching this month is maternity photography. We have offered birth photography for a while and Reagan has done professional portraits before, winning several awards in the Houston Rodeo. If you have purchased a birth photography package, you will have a mini maternity session, or the option to purchase a full maternity session.
We still have birth and postpartum availability for November, December, and January, but spaces fill up quickly. Please make sure your deposits are paid and you are up to date on payments. If you request services and do not pay for them, we unfortunately cannot accommodate that.
